Why the Government Shouldn’t Rule the Internet

Anybody who says, “it’s clear that the agencies [TSA and ICE] don’t understand the operations of the Internet well enough to be in charge of policing it.”, is probably worth listening to on those grounds alone. The idea that simply linking to a web site that the TSA or ICE does not approve of can result in jail for years is frightening. I would have thought that it couldn’t happen in America. But it can. IT IS HAPPENING. :(
